Hyatt Atlanta Midtown, the hotel company’s latest location in the city, is open for business, Hyatt said Thursday.

The 194-room hotel is at the corner of Peachtree Street and 10th Street, across from the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank. Hyatt also has the Regency at 265 Peachtree St. NE and Hyatt Place Atlanta at 330 Peachtree Street NE

The Hyatt Atlanta Midtown was formerly the Hotel Midtown. Noble Investment Group, which owns several metro Atlanta properties, including the W Midtown, announced in February 2012 that it would spend about $21 million to redevelop Hotel Midtown into a Hyatt.

Nobel said the hotel has undergone a complete renovation, including replacement and reconfiguration of the building enclosure and systems, and interiors throughout the property. The hotel also has 5,400 square feet of meeting and event space, and a fitness and aquatic center.

Hyatt hired the Savannah College of Arts and Design to create a major work of public art that will be unveiled at some point at the corner of 10th Street and Juniper Street.

“We believe the business and arts leadership of Midtown Atlanta has made it one of the best live, work, learn, shop and play communities in the United States,” Rodney Williams, Noble’s managing principal and chief investment officer, said in a statement announcing the opening.
