Home prices in Atlanta up, but moderating

By Arielle Kass
April 29, 2014

Home prices in metro Atlanta were up 16.1 percent in February, the 15th straight month of double-digit growth.

But price increases continue to moderate, and the February increase was lower than the 16.8 percent year-over-year increase in January. Price increases have been easing since last April.

Atlanta’s price gains ranked fifth in the S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index, released Tuesday. The 20-city average is up 12.9 percent year-over-year in February.
