Herman J. Russell's construction empire
GALLERY: H.J. Russell & Co., the company founded by construction icon Herman J. Russell in 1952, has left its imprint on multiple commercial and government projects across the country in its 62 years in business. The company has helped build airports, hospitals, jails, universities, parking decks and retail locations for Home Depot, Target and others. The value of those projects run into the multimillions of dollars.
