Google Maps for Android launches indoor map of Hartsfield-Jackson

Travelers with Android phones can now navigate the terminal and concourses of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on a Google Maps application, as Google expands its mapping capabilities to the indoors.

The interior of Hartsfield-Jackson is one of the airports Google Maps for Android is mapping, along with Chicago O’Hare, San Francisco International and others. It is also mapping the inside of some major retailers, including The Home Depot, IKEA and Macy’s.

Android device users need to update the Google Maps app to access the indoor maps.
