Geneva International Auto Show 2014

The Ford Focus is being refreshed for the 2015 model year, with subtle design changes and new features like a 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cyllander engine. Safety technology like a rearview camera and blind spot information system will also be newly available when the car debuts the back half of this year.

While technically a concept, the Mazda Hazumi is widely believed to be a preview of the next generation Mazda2. Since today’s Mazda2 was most recently redone for the 2011 model year, AutoTrader.com editors say a new Hazumi-inspired version could arrive in showrooms in the next couple of years.

The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept first debuted back in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, but in Geneva, the automaker revealed that the vehicle is powered by the same 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 found in the high-performance Nissan GT-R sports car. Because it’s a concept, you won’t be able to drive it home anytime soon, but it does show that Infiniti is taking performance seriously.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz V-Class minivan range offers seating and luggage space for a family of eight, along with a luxury interior and an impressive selection of the company's excellent safety features. There currently aren’t confirmed plans for the vehicle to be available in the U.S, but there are rumors it could replace the R-Class sometime in the future.

For 2015, the new Nissan Juke compact crossover offers bolder styling, new safety features, more engine choices and a glass-roof option. It will be driving into dealer showrooms in the U.S. within the next few months.

Even though this is a concept vehicle, it features a very real piece of technology that’s coming soon to many production vehicles: Apple’s new CarPlay infotainment system. The system allows any features of the current iPhone to be accessed through Siri voice commands or on touchscreen display. CarPlay will be available first in Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo vehicles, and later on BMW, Ford, GM, Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, Subaru and Suzuki models.

The VW Golf GTE adds a plug-in hybrid option to the company’s most successful car. Unfortunately, it’s not scheduled to be available in the U.S., but the drivetrain is the same as the one in the 2015 Audi A3 Sportback e-tron, which is most definitely making the trip across the Atlantic sometime next spring, according to Audi.
