The Four Seasons Atlanta remained the metro area’s best hotel, according to the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide ranking, which awarded the property its top five-star rating on Wednesday.

Georgia’s other perennial five-star winners, Sea Island’s The Cloister and The Lodge, also received the top prize in the 2015 rankings, one of the most sought-after in the lodging industry because it helps justify nightly room charges that can reach into the thousands.

The Georgian Room at the The Lodge’s Sea Island Gulf Club was the state’s top restaurant with five stars, according to Forbes, and the Spa at The Cloister is Georgia’s only five-star spa.

Hotels receiving four stars include the InterContinental Buckhead, the Loews Atlanta, the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta, the St. Regis Atlanta, and Ritz-Carlton locations in Buckhead, downtown Atlanta and at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro.

Restaurants receiving four stars: Bacchanalia, Park 75 at the Four Seasons Atlanta, Quinones at Bacchanalia and Restaurant Eugene.

Four-star spas include Remède Spa at the St. Regis Atlanta and the spa at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.
