SKC, Inc., the Korean polyester film maker in Covington, announced Friday a $100 million expansion that could create 120 new jobs.

The new 200,000-square-foot factory, to be built alongside the company’s U.S. headquarters, film and chemical facilities, will make plastic film components for solar panels.

Hiring is scheduled for April 2011.
