Pinewood Atlanta Studios plans to add nearly 2 million square feet of new movie studios and 1,345 residential units, the large movie production studio in Fayette County said Friday in a filing to the state.

The company said the mix-used development on Veterans Parkway in Fayetteville will also include almost 260,000 square feet on commercial and office space, including hotels, and 53,000 square feet of institutional areas.
