Toys R Us to hire 40,000 nationally this year

Toys R Us — which has 25 locations across the state of Georgia — is planning to hire 40,000 seasonal workers nationwide this year.

Though the toy and baby products retailer says it won't hire as many seasonal employees for the upcoming holiday season compared to last year, current employees and seasonal workers will be able to log more hours.

Department store chain Kohl's is also looking to hire more than 69,000 workers across the country and about 50 in each Georgia store. Discount retailer Target plans to hire 70,000 across the country.
