These metro Atlanta companies are making big hires this June

June makes most people think of vacations and hot temperatures, but for companies, it's business as usual. In fact, for some, it's the busiest time of the year. So if you're looking for a job, you might be in luck.

Stone Mountain Park

Stone Mountain Park ramps up its hiring for summer, and the park is encouraging teachers and other school employees to apply. The school that has the most participating summer employees will be given $5,000, and accepted applicants can receive spot bonuses. As an added perk, you and your dependents will receive free admission to all Herschend family properties. Courtyard Atlanta Buckhead

The hotel, which is located two blocks from MARTA's Buckhead rail station, is hiring in June for a variety of positions. They include jobs for bistro attendants and servers, front desk agents, housekeeping and kitchen supervisors and room attendant/housekeepers. Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena

With more than 1.6 million guests attending 160 live events a year, keeping the Hawks and State Farm Arena organization going requires a lot of employees. They're currently looking to fill full-time positions including those for an innovation lab director, event safety and security specialist, and manager of premium sales and corporate development. They're also looking for many employees to join their 2019-2020 training program in roles such as partnership marketing, analytics, community basketball programs, creative services and more. The Suzuki School is filling openings for substitute teachers at its Buckhead and Midtown Atlanta campuses. An information and recruiting session will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 at the Buckhead Campus, 443 E. Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta. The session will cover the role of a substitute teacher in the classroom, the career path toward permanent, full-time employment and the Montessori training program.
