Using a list of "30 Fastest Growing Jobs", we searched Monster and Career Builder for similar job openings in metro Atlanta with more than 700 job openings. Most listed 1,000 or more opportunities. Get your resume out and start applying for one of these hot jobs:

1. Truck drivers: You'll need a commercial drivers license for heavy and tractor-trailer positions, but everyone from Hertz to UPS is hiring.

2. Electrician: Residential and commercial positions available.

3. Food service manager: Experience required in most cases, but lots of options from high-end restaurants to hotel chains.

4. Medical technician: Certified medical technicians can pick and choose locations.

5. Paralegal or legal administrator: One of several careers where being multilingual pays off.

6. Pharmacist and pharmacy technician: Thousands of openings from senior living facilities, major hospitals, health care providers and pharmacy retail chains.

7. Physical therapist: In-patient, out-patient and even a few openings with travel.
