Benny Denham has been re-elected chairman of Oglethorpe Power Corp., his 11th consecutive term as chairman of the power supply cooperative.

Oglethorpe provides power to 38 electric membership corporations that serve more than 4.1 million Georgians.

Denham, of Sycamore, is a member of the Irwin Electric Membership Corporation Board in Ocilla and an at-large member director of the Oglethorpe Power board.

Marshall Millwood of Gainesville was re-elected vice chairman of the cooperative’s board. He is a member of the Sawnee EMC Board in Cumming and an at-large member director of the Oglethorpe board.

Oglethorpe, which operates natural gas, hydroelectric, coal and nuclear generating plants, is based in Tucker.
