A San Francisco firm that invests in data centers has acquired a Delta Air Lines facility near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in a deal that will keep the Atlanta-based airline as a user of the data storage hub.

Digital Realty Trust said Wednesday it finalized its purchase of the three-story, 344,000-square-ffot data center for about $63 million.

Delta spokesman Anthony Black confirmed the deal.

In June, Delta said it was consolidating certain operations and that it planned to sell a data center near the airport that it would lease back. The airline will use about half of the data center under a 10-year lease.

The remainder of the data center is used by travel firms, Digital Realty said.
