Delta resolves problems with flight check-ins online and at kiosks

Nov 4, 2010

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines had some technical problems with its online check-in and self-service kiosks late Thursday afternoon, but they have been resolved, spokesman Morgan Durrant said.

Long lines were reported at the airport.

There were no delays as a result of the issue, Durrant said.

The company apologized for the inconvenience, according to spokesman Trebor Banstetter. The problem started shortly before 5 p.m. and just after 6 p.m. some of the kiosks were beginning to return to service, Banstetter said.

Operations were back to normal by 7 p.m., Durrant said.
