Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines is giving space leased by merger partner Northwest Airlines back to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as part of the merger of the two carriers, which closed last October.

The space in the North Terminal amounts to 2,600 square feet of ticketing office space, which Northwest will no longer need. Delta has been consolidating facilities at airports around the world as it folds Northwest’s operations into its own.

Hartsfield-Jackson plans to use the space as common-use ticketing space available for any airline that needs it.
