Delta Air Lines said it is extending its partnership with the Atlanta Braves and will remain the team's official airline.

The five-year agreement continues Atlanta-based Delta's partnership with the Braves that dates back to the team's move to Atlanta in 1966.

Delta said it will continue to provide charter service to fly the team as its official airline. The airline will open an expanded lounge inside Turner Field's 755 Club, with its own menu, in-flight cocktails and televisions. Delta will also upgrade the use of its logo throughout the ballpark.

Delta dropped its sponsorship of the Atlanta Falcons last year, saying it planned to align more with baseball.
