Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines said it plans to expand first class on its regional Delta Connection flights by putting first class cabins on all domestic flights longer than 750 miles.

Delta said the expanded first class service will be in place beginning this fall. It will put first class on 50 Delta Connection routes that have had only coach seats, such as flights between Atlanta and Albany, N.Y. The upgrades are part of Delta's $1 billion investment in products and services.
