The parent company of the Daily Report, which is targeted to the legal community, said the Atlanta-based publication recently changed its organizational structure as part of a more aggressive focus on the digital delivery of legal news.
The changes leave the Daily Report with 27 staffers after the elimination of five positions – one in the newsroom and the remainder in other operational areas, according to Kevin Michielsen, chief operating officer of ALM, which publishes the Daily Report and other publications geared to the legal and commercial real estate industries.
“No other changes were made to the publication, and the frequency remains the same,” Michielsen said in a statement on the changes.
