CVS to anchor Peachtree Center

CVS Caremark will be the new anchor at the Mall at Peachtree Center in Atlanta, going into a space that Brooks Brothers left last fall.

The two-story CVS store is unusual for the Southeast, said Dean McNaughton, senior director at Cushman & Wakefield and one of the landlord representatives.

McNaughton said the new space, at more than 13,000 square feet, is the largest retailer in the mall, but that the size is no larger than a typical CVS store.

The store's 20-year lease begins in June. McNaughton said the store will likely have a larger convenience grocery selection than other CVS stores.
