Cox: Valpak no longer for sale

Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises announced Thursday that Valpak will remain a part of the company and is no longer for sale.

Cox announced in August 2008 that it planned to sell Largo, Fla.-based Valpak, a direct marketing business operated by Cox Target Media and known largely for the blue envelopes of coupons that it mails. Cox said in a statement Thursday that Valpak in the last year has entered new forms of media and has a promising future as it continues to generate new sources of revenue.
