Norfolk Southern, the railway company, announced the retirement of former Georgia-Pacific Chairman Pete Correll from its board of directors. Correll, one of three retiring directors, is chairman of Atlanta Equity Investors.

Among the 12 directors re-elected to terms that expire in 2014 is Delta Air Lines Chairman Daniel Carp. The announcements were made at Norfolk’s annual meeting Thursday in Williamsburg, Va.
