The company said the brake arm can fail, causing a crash, the Consumer Product Safety Commission reported.
The tractors were sold at Home Depot, Lowes and other dealers across the country from May 2015 through August 2015. They cost between $1,700 and $2,700.
The recall involves models D110, D125, D130, D140, D155, D160 and D170 tractors. The serial numbers begin with 1GXD.
