Construction spending flat

The U.S. Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce say construction spending during October was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $798.5 billion,  which shows a slight gain of .8 percent over the September estimate of $792.1 billion. However the October figure is .4 percent below spending in October 2010.
