Three Atlanta commercial real estate veterans are forming a new investment and services firm.

Jeff Shaw, Kevin Oats and John Ward announced on Monday they have launched Fairlead Commercial Real Estate, an Atlanta-based company that will buy and manage properties and provide leasing services.

The company will target office and industrial properties in the Southeast and Texas that range from $5 million to $100 million.

The three founders, former executives with Atlanta-based Jackson Oats Shaw, have been involved in more than $1.5 billion in commercial real estate deals. The firm’s principals have stakes in several office buildings across Atlanta and are in negotiations to purchase four more properties.
