Coke Zero hopes to connect Facebook users with their look-alikes from around the world.

Launched by Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Co., the Coke Zero Facial Profiler is a marketing use of face-detection technology. Facebook users can take their pictures, upload them, view their matches and connect to them through the application. They can go to www.cocacolazero.com or

The idea, according to Coca-Cola: Coke Zero is the mirror image of regular Coke. Thus, online users can find their own mirror image in real life. The creation of a Coke Zero "face database," with more than 110,000 people who uploaded photos, took two months. Now, those users can find out who in the world may share their likeness.
