In case those 1,010-calorie banana pudding milkshakes are adding up and you're trying to cut back, Chick-fil-A is now selling something a little more wholesome.

Starting Monday, the company will offer multi-grain oatmeal as a new breakfast menu option. The 8-ounce bowls start at $2.49. A meal with a small coffee and medium fruit cup goes for $5.65.

Customers can choose one of three toppings, including cinnamon brown sugar, roasted mixed nuts or a blend of dried cranberries, blueberries, golden raisins and cherries.

Without toppings, one serving contains 120 calories and 2.5 grams of fat. With toppings, it has up to 290 calories and 11 grams of fat. By comparison, a 2.07-ounce Snickers bar has 280 calories and 14 grams of fat.

"Our customers have made it clear that they would like to have healthier alternatives for breakfast," said Woody Faulk, who oversees Chick-fil-A's menu strategy. He said the company has tried to respond by diversifying its menu with yogurt parfaits, fruit cups and multi-grain bagels.

But if you still crave something sweet in the morning, Chick-fil-A offers cinnamon clusters, Faulk noted.
