Three of metro Atlanta’s largest companies — Home Depot, UPS and Aaron’s — are getting new leaders. The CEOs of UPS and Aaron’s left those jobs last week and Home Depot’s will relinquish that key role on Nov. 1.

It’s the end of one era and the beginning of another as each company charts its own path while the competitive landscape intensifies and grows more complex.

Here’s a look at how the CEOs performed and what the new leaders face.
