Dutch camera company Orlaco plans to open its first U.S. office in North Georgia and create about 65 jobs over the next five years, state and company officials said on Tuesday.

The Netherlands-based company makes camera systems for use on heavy machinery and equipment such as tractor trailers, ships and cranes. The facility in Jasper, about 60 miles north of downtown Atlanta, will house Orlaco’s warehouse and sales center.

Tom Croteau, deputy commissioner of global commerce for the state Department of Economic Development, said in a news release that Orlaco will be a supplier to other manufacturers in Georgia, including heavy-equipment makers such as Caterpillar, John Deere and JCB.
