Black aerospace group plans student aviation academy

The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals is taking applications for its annual summer student aviation academy in Atlanta.

The week-long Aviation Career Education academy for students ages 14 to 18 will be held July 23-27 at Delta Air Lines' headquarters near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Those interested in applying can go to www.obap.org for more information. The Atlanta academy is one of about 22 similar programs across the United States.
