Beer-brewing pastor spreads Ga. craft

Craft beer makers who have shaken up the alcohol industry in Georgia really do come from all walks of life.

But Spencer Nix might be the most surprising of all.

He's an evangelical pastor and a co-founder and chief executive of Woodstock-based Reformation Brewery. His crew produced 1,600 barrels of beer last year and expects to nearly double its output this year. Nix, though, preaches moderation.
