Atlanta packaging firm expands
Atlanta-based Piedmont National Corporation, a distributor of packaging equipment and materials, acquired Winder Packaging in Greer, S.C.
Piedmont has 10 other locations in Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama and Florida.
Gary Marx, Piedmont's president, said, “The acquisition of Winder Packaging is a continuation of our initiative to expand geographically."
Piedmont will continue to make strategic acquisitions, he said.
