Atlanta home prices continue to rise

Home prices in metro Atlanta are showing double-digit increases for the 11th straight month.

Prices in the region are up 19 percent year-over-year for October, according to the widely watched S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index, released Tuesday.

The increase is slightly higher than September’s 18.7 percent year-over-year improvement.
