The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has named four new board members: Richard H. Anderson, CEO of Delta Air Lines; Rudy E. Schupp, president and CEO of 1st United Bank; Clarence Otis Jr., chairman and CEO of Darden Restaurants; and T. Anthony Humphries, president and CEO of NobleBank & Trust of Anniston, Ala.

Anderson and Otis were elected to three-year terms, while Schupp was re-elected. Humphries was elected to fill an unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2010 and to serve an additional three-year term.

The board of directors oversees the bank’s operations and makes recommendations on changes to the discount rate. The members also help the Federal Reserve formulate monetary policy through their input on economic matters they provide to the bank’s president.
