April 10, 2012

Atlanta's Cortland Partners announced Tuesday it bought a 368-unit apartment complex in the metro Dallas region.

That makes 26 apartment communities that Cortland Partners has acquired since 2010.

While the foreclosure crisis has left the market for owned homes depressed, apartment rentals have grown and so has the business of buying and building apartments.

Cortland's properties now stretch from  Charlotte to Texas.
