Porsche announced it is donating $500,000 to the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, as the automaker celebrated the opening of its new North America headquarters in Atlanta.

Supervisory board chairman Wolfgang Porsche announced the donation during a grand opening party Thursday evening. Porsche Cars North America moved its headquarters from Sandy Springs to a site near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

“In supporting the BeltLine, we would like to do our part to sustain the beauty and allure of this great city for many years to come,” said Porsche Cars North America CEO Detlev von Platen in a written statement.
