Atlanta-based Triarc Cos., parent company of Arby’s Restaurant Group, and Ohio-based Wendy’s International completed a merger Monday that creates the third-largest U.S. fast-food company. Shareholders of Wendy's and Triarc earlier approved a $2.34 billion deal that will make the nation's No. 3 hamburger chain a part of billionaire investor Nelson Peltz's empire.
