"Future Directions in ORL Nursing" will be presented by the Atlanta Regional Chapter of the Society of Otorhinolarynology and Head and Neck Nurses. This six-hour seminar will be at Emory University's Midtown campus (550 Peachtree St., Atlanta) from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $65 for Emory staff and $75 for others. Aug. 19-21
The Emory diabetes educator certificate course at Grady will be held at the Emory Faculty Office Building (49 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive in Atlanta). This seminar is open to nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers and others interested in the management and education of people with diabetes. Professionals preparing to take the certified diabetes educator exam should find the course helpful. Attendees must have a degree or diploma in a health profession. The course is also open to students preparing to take a licensure examination. The cost, which includes materials, is $375.
