Alpharetta cell phone insurer eSecuritel has been sold.
The terms of Brightstar Corp.'s purchase of eSecuritel from Mainsail Partners were not disclosed. The company will remain headquartered in Alpharetta.
The 10-year-old eSecuritel insures new, used, or prepaid wireless devices against failure, malfunction, loss, theft and accidental damage. Brightstar, headquartered in Miami, is a telecommunications solutions company.
