Good: 35%

Not so good: 47%

Poor: 15%

Don't know/No answer: 2%

Thinking ahead, would you say you feel optimistic or pessimistic about your own personal financial prospects over the next five years?

Optimistic: 71%

Pessimistic: 23%

Don't know/No answer: 6%

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll was conducted Sept. 12-17 among a random sample of 801 Georgia adults reached on cell and conventional phones. The overall survey has a sampling error margin of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
