A baby stroller manufacturer is recalling 20,000 units in the US due to a defect that could increase the risk of falls.

Dorel Juvenile is recalling Step and Go Travel Systems sold under the Safety 1st brand, sold between May 2015 and June 2016. Recalled units will have model number TR314 printed on a white label on the back of the stroller seat.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission notice, there have been 30 reports of the front tray that supports the car seat disengaging on one side. No injuries have been reported from the defect.

A free repair kit is available from the manufacturer. Consumers should stop using the recalled unit immediately and contact Safety 1st toll-free at 866-762-3036 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, via email at stepandgo@djgusa.com, or online at www.safety1st.com and click on “Safety Notices” for more information.
