What Atlantans Googled in 2015

If you want to check the pulse of a city, just take a look at the most searched topics on everyone's favorite search engine. Here are the Top-10 Trending Searches in Atlanta this year according to Google:

1. Lamar Odom

2. Bobbi Kristina

3. Ronda Rousey

4. Sandra Bland

5. Alabama football schedule 2015

6. Paris

7. Straight Outta Compton

8. Charlie Sheen

9. Hurricane Patricia

10. Atlanta Hawks

This would be pretty interesting on its own, but it's also notable that the top searches differ a bit from a recent analysis of Google searches in the state conducted by Estately .

I'm not sure what the difference says about Atlanta versus the rest of Georgia except that a lot of people outside the metro area are dancing! Here are the topics people in Georgia searched for more than any other state in 2015:

• Stanky leg dance

• Serena Williams

• Blake Shelton divorce
