A video posted on Facebook by the Atlanta Police Department has gone viral. The video which shows participants of the Atlanta Women's March giving hugs and high fives to Atlanta Police has had more than 5 million views.
"The appreciation and love is unbelievable! Thank you Atlanta," read the caption.
The Atlanta March for Social Justice & Women took place on Saturday, Jan. 21. It was one of many planned marches around the country designed to be a demonstration of solidarity from underrepresented communities, women, and others in Georgia and around the country.
APD estimates that the Atlanta march had about 60,000 participants. Women's marches around the world drew more than 2 million total participants.

Protesters had to brave soggy weather and the start time was delayed for about 30 minutes. Speakers included Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, D-Atlanta and U.S. Rep John Lewis, who was fresh off a Twitter feud with President Trump.
