Not only is LaBelle giving away free samples of her new premium caramel cake in Atlanta this week , the singer turned baker has been cooking up romance with a man 30 years her junior.
LaBelle, 71, has been dating singer and drummer, Eric Seats, 41, for over a year according to a story on DailyMail.com . The duo met when Seats was hired to play in her band. LaBelle was reportedly exiting a bad romance and things jumped off, so to speak.

Seats has even moved to Philadelphia to be close to LaBelle. The couple made many appearances this holiday season and hosted Thanksgiving dinner at LaBelle's home.
Not everyone is happy with the new romance. A source tells Daily Mail that LaBelle's son, Zuri, who is also her manager, doesn't like his mom dating a man who is a year younger than he is.
But Patti has pretty much earned the right to do what she wants, no? Maybe she's found the right kind of lover!
