Bill Clinton is headed back to Atlanta.

The former president was just in town yesterday to attend the funeral of Zell Miller.

But this summer, he will be on a book tour to promote his new novel.

Clinton and best-selling author James Patterson have promised “The President is Missing,” (Little, Brown/Knopf, on sale June 4) will be the thriller of the summer.

The book even has an action-packed trailer:

The title of the book is a pretty clear indication of what it is about but Clinton and Patterson have both said the plot is full of twists and turns, just like the job of president.

Clinton will embark on a month-long North American promo tour in June which includes a stop in Atlanta on Wednesday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

Pre-sale tickets for the event (presented by the Fox Theatre) are available April 3. Anyone interested in receiving an invitation to the pre-sale can register their email address today thru April 2 at PresidentClintonLive.com

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at PresidentClintonLive.com, by calling 800-745-3000 or at the Cobb Energy Centre Box Office.

The evening promises to be wide-ranging conversation during which Clinton discusses his forthcoming novel as well as important and relevant issues the novel raises about our world today.

This is Clinton’s first novel and the first time a U.S. President has collaborated with a bestselling novelist on a work of fiction.
