Last week, we had the unusual battle between Gregg and Peter, two good friends.

NeNe jumped in and called Peter a "bitch."

Yup. She used the b word - on a guy!

Cynthia Bailey was not pleased that her best friend called her hubby that emasculating, provocative word.

NeNe did apologize moments later - in a sense. But she still felt Peter's  behavior (getting into "women's bidness") was "bitchy." She explained later that she was simply calling "a spade a spade."

(For those who missed the episode that caused Gregg's outburst last week, Kenya Moore had invited NeNe to "honor" her at a charity event. But NeNe was not directly invited and was bitchy herself. Peter thought NeNe was being disrespectful and when she approached him, he told her straight out that he thought she didn't behave herself. Gregg didn't say anything at the time but waited until a trip to Mexico to express his displeasure, that Peter should have come to him. They then started cursing each other and almost got physical.)

In Mexico, at the conclusion of the argument, Gregg said he would give Peter a pass but not so much next time. This threat didn't sit well with Peter, who felt he did nothing wrong.

Later in the episode, the foursome get together in Atlanta for an awkward dinner to smooth things over.

At first, it doesn't go well. Bailey didn't feel any use of the "bitch" word was right, whether it was descriptive of behavior or a person as a whole.

"I want to put a line in the sand that we all respect," Peter declares.

Ultimately, they agree to disagree. NeNe is kind of apologetic but not entirely."I tell it like it is," she said. "At the moment, I really felt that."

For Cynthia, that's close enough. They all clasp hands and all is forgiven.

***

Not much else happened during this episode.

* Phaedra Parks meets with funeral home owner Willie Watkins to talk about partnering up to operate a funeral home together.

* Porsha Williams is about to join the musical Kandi Burruss is putting together, "A Mother's Love." But Porsha's lawyer is playing hardball, wanting her to get equal billing with Eddie Levert of the O'Jays and demanding her own dressing room. Kandi and her manager DonJuan say no way. Porsha, in person, blames the diva-like demands on her attorney, acting as if that wasn't her responsibility. And since she wasn't under contract, she skips out on early rehearsals, resulting in DonJuan making fun of her, calling her "Porshonce" and saying she could be on the "Twirl Tour" with Kenya Moore. Porsha goes to a club as a single lady and hits on a pro golfer.

* Kenya, trying to beef up a barren story line, wants a baby - with or without her imaginary "Kenyan prince." Or perhaps she will be having a date with a turkey baster with sperm from a sperm bank. A woman comes by to give her a "test" fake baby to have for a week to try out life as a mommy. So far, months after this taping, we have heard nothing about Kenya getting pregnant.

TRAILER

Peter is having issues with his bar and the landlord. Kenya's crying about something. Porsha's commitment to Kandi's play is questioned. Mama Joyce says she lost respect for Todd, Kandi's hubby.

RATINGS

The 19th episode last week drew 4.26 million viewers, above average for the season. The show, having its best season ever in terms of ratings, is averaging close to 4 million viewers this season, up from 3.1 million last year. With the explosive happenings during the taping Thursday of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" between Porsha and Kenya, I expect ratings will only go up.
