This year's V-103 Car and Bike Show July 12 will feature T.I. and the Hustle Gang, Rich Homie Quan, Doug E. Fresh, T-Pain and Da Brat, among others.

Held at the Georgia World Congress Center, this is one of V-103's signature events in its 11th year. Tickets are reasonably price at $15 and  are available here.

UPDATE: 7/13: At about 8 p.m., ten people were hurt with minor injuries when some fighting caused people to leave at the Georgia World Congress Center in a hurry. Some fell and were trampled. There was no evidence of gun shots. Details here.

Greg Street, the long-time V-103 night jock, said he came up with the idea more than a decade ago.  He said the annual event has grown steadily and drew 30,000 people last year.

"It's a cultural thing," he said. "It's more than the concert and the entertainment. Cars and bikes are so much part of the urban community. It's a lifestyle."

He said the ticket prices are kept deliberately low so people can bring their kids and make it a family outing.

Originally sponsored by Coors, he said Race Trac, DTLR and Mountain Dew are now primary sponsors.

There is an application process to get your car or bike featured in the show, which showcases about 250.

Street said the schedule for the artists has not been finalized yet. In past years, Usher, Rick Ross and Diddy have turned up. He said there will be some surprise guests not yet announced this year as well.

He himself drives a Mercedes G500 or a Ford F150. He owns six motorcycles, including four Harleys. He said he doesn't really have a favorite vehicle. It changes day to day.

Street's charity, the We Need 2 Read reading and scholarship program,  is working with the Fulton County libraries this summer for a second year. For students who finish the program, they become eligible for gifts, including a top prize of $1,000.
