They couldn't avoid it. Today's edition of GPB's "Political Rewind" began with a mandatory discussion of Senate Rule 19 and the GOP decision to make U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., sit down and be quiet on Tuesday night.

“Would they have silenced a male Democratic senator who probably would have tried the same thing? Yes. But it looks different when you’re doing it to a woman,” said Andra Gillespie, the Emory University political scientist.
