The party scheduled a trio of events featuring House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin and other Democrats during a "Georgia Women Voter Together" crusade in Decatur, Atlanta and Columbus. Among the events is a

with Abrams.

The Trump sisters, meanwhile, will headline a 4:20 p.m. rally at Cobb County GOP headquarters and a “roundtable of working women” at a nearby State Farm branch at 5:50 p.m.

With polls showing the race between Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton is a dead heat in Georgia, the Republican's campaign is trying to narrow a gaping gender gap that's opened. An Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll conducted last week gives Trump a 44-42 lead in the state thanks to a hefty advantage among men.

But the New York businessman trails among women 48-37, and some voters say they're still haunted by his claims of groping women and the string of sexual assault accusations that he's denied.
