Mug shots are gradually coming in for the 11 former Atlanta Public Schools educators found guilty of racketeering and other charges.
A jury convicted the 11 former educators Wednesday of racketeering related to cheating on standardized test. The verdicts were mixed on the remaining felony charges, such as making false statements.
The conspiracy charge was the most serious and could bring sentences up to 20 years. The educators were taken into custody right after the verdicts were read and could be seen taking off their jewelry in the courtroom before being handcuffed. A bus carrying the educators was spotted transporting them to jail.
Former Dobbs Elementary School teacher Dessa Curb was acquitted of all charges.
