Authorities have arrested a 26-year-old man they say drove from DeKalb County to northwest Georgia to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.

According to the Dalton Citizen , Greg Paul Mitchell met the teenager online, drove from his Tucker home to Murray County on "on more than one occasion" and had sex with the girl.

Murray County is about 90 miles northwest of Tucker.

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office learned of the situation on Saturday, and a detective was given the girl’s phone number.

“I assumed the victim’s identity and communicated with Mr. Mitchell via text messages,” sheriff's Detective Brett Morrison told the newspaper. “I arranged for him to come to Murray County, and we arrested him when he got up here.”

Mitchell is in the Murray jail without bond on charges of child molestation and computer pornography.
